Portal de madera de mar en un claro del bosque, en Playa Grande, Costa Rica

Art born from matter
that finds its place in space.

Branches, driftwood, bamboo and natural fibers that become sculptures, installations and one-of-a-kind pieces made to inhabit a space.

01 — About my work

I create works from natural materials that have been shaped by time, landscape and the elements. My work starts from a search: finding new ways to relate to nature and bringing some of that energy into the places we live in.

Nature as material, time as part of the process.

I like working with materials that already have a story. Every branch, every piece of wood and every fiber carries a shape that wind, sea, sun and time built slowly, long before I found it.

I don't try to impose a shape on the material. I listen to it, respect it and look for a way to bring out what is already there.

02 — Work

One-of-a-kind pieces that find a new life.

Each work is conceived as a singular piece. The shapes found in nature decide much of the final result, so no two pieces are alike.

Sculptures and installations

Works to walk through and inhabit. Nature's own shapes, changing how a space is perceived.

02

Portals and spaces

Portals, tunnels and structures you can step into. Works to pass through and connect with.

03

Lamps

Sculptural lamps made of driftwood, branches and fibers, where light reveals textures and curves.

No two pieces are alike.

Rather than reproducing a shape, I look for pieces that bring presence and atmosphere to a space and connect with it.

Portals and spaces

A threshold can be much more than a place you pass through.

I'm interested in moments of transition. That instant between one place and another, between what we leave behind and what is about to begin.

03 — Light

When matter can also transform the atmosphere.

The lamps are part of my search to bring art, nature and function together. Driftwood, branches and natural fibers become unique structures where light reveals textures, curves and details that can go unnoticed during the day.

Light is more than a function. It is part of the work.

Each piece is unique and you ask about it directly. No shop, no cart.

We forget that

we are part of the same thing.

04 — Custom works

A work made for that place and no other.

Creating a piece for a space means finding a way to relate to it.

I create custom works and pieces for residential projects, hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces, and architecture and interior design studios.

Every project starts from the place itself: its dimensions, its architecture, its surroundings and the experience it wants to create. The goal is a piece that meets the space naturally, rather than one that simply fills it.

How a custom work comes to life

01

The place

Dimensions, architecture, surroundings and the experience you want to create.

02

The material

Branches, driftwood, bamboo and fibers that already carry their own story.

03

The form

Handwork guided by what the material suggests. No two pieces are alike.

04

The encounter

The work is installed and starts a dialogue with the space and with the people in it.

Time

The work doesn't begin with me. I continue a transformation that nature had already started.

05 — A work for your space

Every space has an identity.

My aim is to create works that recognize it, accompany it and, sometimes, transform it.
